Job summary

Terranea Resorts is seeking a Lobby Bar Busser/Food Runner to support servers and ensure prompt service. Responsibilities include keeping the dining area clean, setting up and clearing, and assisting with food expediting while maintaining a professional appearance.

The ideal candidate speaks English, has a High School diploma (preferred) and a CA Food Handlers Card. Base pay starts at $16.90 per hour plus tips, with benefits including PTO and a company 401(k) match.

• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Keep the restaurant consistently clean and organized.
• Set up trash cans, soda, plates, utensils, and to-go containers at start of shift.
• Bus tubs: pick up soiled plates and beverages and return to kitchen.
• Bring full bus tubs back to the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and service ware throughout the day.
• Know table/seat/station numbers, capacity, hours of operation, and proper setups.
• Assist servers with food delivery and kitchen expediting.
• Complete closing duties and restock items.
• Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Welcome guests according to company standards and address service needs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff.
• Adhere to quality standards and department policies.
• Move and handle items up to 20 pounds as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisors.
