Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group, the largest Outback Steakhouse franchisee in the United States, is hiring an Outbacker to ensure a top-quality guest experience. You will buss, clean, reset tables, and upsell menu items while providing friendly, professional service.

The position is hourly and non-exempt, with a base pay of $16.90 per hour plus tips. California benefits include comprehensive health insurance and paid sick leave, plus training and the Shift Leader program for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) and work in hot/cold environments.
• For California positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certification required within training period (up to 60 days).

Responsibilities

• Buss, clean, and reset tables; address cleanliness and service needs in public areas.
• Know menu well to recommend and upsell drinks and food.
• Answer phones promptly and route calls as needed.
• Support all restaurant areas as needed to WOW guests; follow safety and sanitation procedures.
