Out West Restaurant Group is hiring for a team player to join our Outback Steakhouse team in California. You will buss and clean tables, assist in service, and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
• Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral.
• The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.

Responsibilities

• Buss and clean tables and reset them; address cleanliness and service needs in public areas to keep guest experience smooth.
• Know our food and drink menu and be able to recommend and upsell products.
• Answer phones promptly and professionally and direct calls as applicable.
• Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as needed; strive to WOW guests.
• Comply with safe food handling, cleanliness, sanitation standards and all safety procedures.
