Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group, the largest franchisee of Outback Steakhouse in the United States, is hiring for an hourly, non-exempt front-of-house role.

As an Outbacker you will buss, clean, reset tables, greet guests, upsell menu items, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while delivering a memorable AUS-SOME dining experience. Training provided, growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• California requires Responsible Beverage Service Certification for this position (training can occur within 60 days).
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and to work in hot or cold environments.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
• Demonstrates teamwork and effective communication with guests and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Buss, clean, and reset tables; address cleanliness and service needs in public areas.
• Know menu basics and upsell drinks and dishes to guests.
• Answer phones promptly and direct calls appropriately.
• Support all restaurant areas as needed and ensure a positive guest experience.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and food handling standards during shifts.
