Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a friendly, guest-focused Busperson to support servers and ensure a smooth dining experience. You will keep tables clean, assist with table maintenance and beverage delivery, and help guests with menu questions while maintaining a professional appearance.

You will learn the Host Stand operations, anticipate guest needs, and handle opening/closing duties and payments. This role offers opportunities to grow into a server position in a team‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure tables are clean and properly set; assist Food Runner as needed.
• Maintain communication with servers; assist with table maintenance and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality.
• Operate the Host Stand and know menu items, contents, and garnishes.
• Handle all opening/closing duties and process payments.
• Maintain professional appearance and represent the establishment well.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do

• A Busperson will ensure that all tables are clean and properly set while also assisting the Food Runner when necessary
• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers. Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times
• Learn to operate the Host Stand
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
• Process all payment methods
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
