Job summary

White Lodging is hiring a Busperson to support our dining team at our Austin properties. You will help keep tables clean, set up dining areas, and assist servers with delivering beverages and maintaining service flow.

We seek individuals with an outgoing personality, strong communication, and a team-focused mindset. Training to progress into server duties will be provided, and you will learn our host stand operations to enhance guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Outgoing and social personality required.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and move into the server role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tables are clean and properly set; assist servers as needed.
• Work closely with servers; assist with table maintenance, clearing, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and exhibit professionalism and hospitality.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Know menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions.

Responsibilities:
What You'll Do

• A Busperson will ensure that all tables are clean and properly set while also assisting the Food Runner when necessary
• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers. Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times
• Learn to operate the Host Stand
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
• Process all payment methods
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
