Job summary

White Lodging in Austin seeks a friendly server to create memorable guest experiences across our hotels and dining venues. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver beverages, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining space.

You should be outgoing, communicate clearly, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Training on our host stand and various menu items will support your growth in hospitality.

• Outgoing and social personality with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow into the server role.
• Ability to stand, move quickly, and work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tables are clean and properly set, assisting as needed.
• Communicate with servers, assist with table maintenance, clearing, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide exemplary hospitality with professionalism.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Be knowledgeable about all menu items and garnishes, answer guest questions.
• Process all payment methods.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance and be an ambassador of the establishment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure all tables are clean and properly set while assisting the Food Runner as needed.
• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers; assist with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality, always exhibiting professionalism and friendliness.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes, accurately answering any guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Process all payment methods.
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
