White Lodging in Indianapolis is seeking a friendly Busperson to support servers and keep tables clean and inviting. You’ll learn the host stand operations, assist with table maintenance, and help deliver beverages and payments efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Keep all tables clean and properly set, assisting the Food Runner when necessary.
• Work closely with servers, helping with table maintenance, clearing, and beverage delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality; stay professional and friendly.
• Learn to operate the Host Stand.
• Be knowledgeable of menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes; answer guest questions.
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned.
• Process all payment methods.
• Maintain a neat, professional personal appearance as an ambassador of White Lodging.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• A Busperson will ensure that all tables are clean and properly set while also assisting the Food Runner when necessary
• Work closely and maintain excellent communication with servers. Assist servers with table maintenance, clearing, marking, and beverage delivery
• Anticipate guest needs and offer exemplary hospitality. Exhibit professionalism and friendliness at all times
• Learn to operate the Host Stand
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items, contents, preparation methods, and garnishes. Accurately answer any guest questions
• Perform all cleaning, opening, and closing duties as assigned
• Process all payment methods
• Be an ambassador of our establishment by maintaining a neat and professional personal appearance
• Perform other duties as assigned
