Job summary

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support IT infrastructure projects in Pontiac, MI. Hybrid work arrangement with two days on-site, full-time contract (W2), 12 months.

You will translate business needs into clear requirements for networking, servers, Microsoft 365, VoIP, and service center teams. You’ll perform data analysis, design solutions, QA testing, and assist with procurement documents such as RFPs and contract scopes.

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst/BA in IT.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (Asset Mgmt, Inventory Mgmt, CMDB discovery, Webex).
• Strong data analytics experience.

Business Systems Analyst / IT Business Analyst

Pontiac, Michigan | Hybrid (2 days on-site) | Full-Time | Contract (W2) | 5+ Years

MaxIT Consulting – Max Corporate Group is looking for a Business Analyst to support IT infrastructure projects for a public-sector organization in the Pontiac area, Michigan.

You will work across Infrastructure Services projects, including networking, servers, workstation services, Microsoft 365, VoIP telecommunications and the service center, turning business needs into clear requirements and working solutions.

THE CHALLENGE

Infrastructure teams need a self-starter who takes ownership of project assignments: someone who analyzes data, designs solutions, writes technical requirements and makes sure every deliverable meets its specification.

The role combines analysis, testing and implementation with hands-on user support, and also contributes to procurement documents such as Requests for Proposals and contract scopes of deliverables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Experience with ServiceNow integrations (Asset Management, Inventory Management, CMDB discovery, Webex).
• Strong hands-on experience with the Microsoft 365 productivity suite.
• Solid data analytics experience.
• Self-starter with proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must live within commuting distance of Pontiac, Michigan, to work on-site two days a week.

NICE TO HAVE

• Telecommunications Expense Management experience.
• Experience with contracts and Requests for Proposals.
