Protective is seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. You will help define, analyze, and deliver solutions that support operational and strategic objectives.

The role requires gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and translating needs into technical solutions within Waterfall, Agile, or Lean environments. A strong analytical mindset and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of business systems analysis or related experience.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and system requirements.
• Experience supporting technology-related projects and business system implementations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and system specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, quality assurance teams, and business partners throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support system implementation activities, including testing, validation, and deployment.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder meetings, and solution design discussions.
• Assist in evaluating system enhancements and identifying opportunities for process optimization.
• Create and maintain project documentation, business requirements, process maps, and training materials.
• Support projects operating within Waterfall, Agile, or Lean development methodologies.
• Provide ongoing analysis and support for business applications and system-related initiatives.
