Job summary

DGS Office of External Affairs in Brooklyn seeks a Business Systems Analyst 1 to support Addiction Services and Supports centers. You will manage health information documentation and reporting systems, onboard and support ~600 users, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with developers and IT staff.

Travel up to 25% and report to the Associate Commissioner of the Division of Addiction Treatment Centers. This role emphasizes translating business needs into IT solutions and creating training materials

Qualifications

• Six years of business analysis experience across the SDLC.
• Experience with business process analysis and validation of requirements during product or system development.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and Visio preferred.
• Ability to communicate business process and system requirements to IT staff, program staff, and stakeholders.
• Associate degree may substitute for two years of specialized experience; bachelor's degree for four years; master's degree for five years.

Responsibilities

• Manage health information documentation and reporting systems.
• Provide onboarding and maintenance support for approx. 600 users.
• Troubleshoot system errors.
• Communicate with program developers and IT staff.
