Job summary

The Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) is seeking a Business Systems Analyst 1 in New York, NY, to support health information documentation and reporting systems across Addiction Treatment Centers. Responsibilities include onboarding, maintenance for ~600 users, and regulatory-compliant system enhancements.

The role requires BA experience, familiarity with SDLC, and ability to translate business needs to IT; NY HELPS program appointments may apply. Travel up to 25% expected.

Qualifications

• Six years of business analysis experience using BA techniques to elicit requirements and document system needs.
• Experience analyzing business processes to identify improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Knowledge of SDLC and testing practices; ability to communicate requirements to IT and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide onboarding and ongoing system support for new users.
• Maintain and support systems for all users (≈600).
• Troubleshoot system errors and develop effective solutions.
• Communicate system needs to developers and stakeholders and propose regulatory-compliant changes.
• Document system functionality and track changes to systems/processes.
