Job summary

New York State Office of Mental Health seeks a Business Systems Analyst 2 to lead and coordinate activities supporting OMH clinical and business systems. You will translate user requirements, develop use cases, and deliver end-user training while working with OMH owners and OITS staff to implement system changes.

You will supervise a team of BSA 1s, participate in change management, and help document risk assessments and mitigations as part of the ongoing informatics initiatives.

Qualifications

• Seven years of business analysis experience in a large health care facility or related setting, including eliciting requirements and validating during SDLC.
• Advanced degree substitutions allowed as described in the minimum qualifications.
• Experience with documenting requirements, test plans, and end-user training.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support to business owners and stakeholders to meet OMH goals and IT priorities.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss business needs and requirements.
• Develop, monitor, and review business processes through end user interaction.
• Translate requirements into functional workflows and develop test scenarios.
