Excelon Solutions is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for HR Technology & Automation to support HR apps, primarily Workday, and drive automation and AI-driven improvements. You will collaborate with HR teams, partners, and vendors to maintain HR systems, manage requests, and enhance efficiency through automation.

You will build automated workflows, handle integrations, and create dashboards while ensuring data privacy and compliance.

Formación

• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst, with HR tech/HCM experience.
• Hands-on Workday with integrations, processes, reporting or security.
• Experience building apps/workflows with low-code platforms (Power Apps/Power Automate).
• Practical use of AI tools to improve business processes.
• Understanding of system integrations, file transfers (SFTP/PGP), and data mapping.
• Experience with Agile delivery tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with ITIL change management and SOX controls.
• Strong communication and problem-solving with HR stakeholders and vendors.

Role: Business Systems Analyst – HR Technology & Automation

Location: Tulsa, OK 74172 - Onsite

Job Type: Contract – 10+ Months, with Possible Extension / Conversion

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst – HR Technology & Automation to support HR applications, troubleshoot system integrations, and improve business processes through automation and AI solutions.

In this role, you will work with HR teams, technical partners, and external vendors to maintain HR systems, manage application requests, and develop tools that reduce manual work and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support HR applications, primarily Workday, and troubleshoot system integrations.
• Coordinate file transfers, security certificates, vendor updates, and integration testing.
• Manage application requests, requirements, user stories, and priorities using Azure DevOps.
• Coordinate system changes, testing, release activities, and change-management documentation.
• Build automated workflows and low-code applications using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Use AI tools to streamline support requests, documentation, reporting, and integration monitoring.
• Create dashboards and reports to track system performance and application backlogs.
• Maintain process documentation and follow data privacy and security requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, including at least 3 years supporting HR technology or HRIS/HCM systems.
• Hands-on experience with Workday, including integrations, business processes, reporting, or security.
• Experience building applications or automated workflows using Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar low-code platforms.
• Practical experience using AI or generative AI tools to improve business processes.
• Understanding of system integrations, SFTP/PGP file transfers, and data mapping.
• Experience with Agile delivery tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with ITIL change management and audit or SOX-style controls.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including experience working with HR stakeholders and external vendors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday certification or experience with Workday Studio or EIB.
• Experience with SAP Fieldglass, benefits carrier integrations, or travel and expense integrations.
• Knowledge of Copilot Studio, AI agents, or prompt engineering.
• Experience with Power BI or SQL.
• Experience in energy, utilities, or another regulated industry.

What Success Looks Like:

• Independently manage day-to-day HR integration support and weekly change requests.
• Take ownership of HR application requests and backlog management.
• Deliver an automation or AI solution that measurably reduces manual work.
