Qualifications

Morton is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a growing industrial supply and wholesale distribution organization in the Memphis area.

This individual will play a key role in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing the company's core business applications, with a strong emphasis on Epicor Prophet 21 (P21).

The ideal candidate brings hands-on ERP experience, strong troubleshooting and integration skills, and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to improve processes across distribution, inventory, sales, and operations.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting an established IT environment, with the potential for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical resource for Epicor P21 and other enterprise business applications, including WMS, CRM, eCommerce, EDI, and reporting platforms.
• Troubleshoot application issues, support end users, and maintain system reliability and performance.
• Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance to understand business requirements and improve workflows.
• Support ERP integrations, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing modernization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory management, order processing, pricing, and fulfillment processes.
• Work with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and coordinate system improvements.
• Support data integration, reporting, analytics, and automation initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, system procedures, and application support best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems and enterprise business applications.
• Hands-on experience with Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting ERP integrations, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Understanding of distribution, inventory management, purchasing, and order fulfillment workflows.
• Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, and business reporting tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work directly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to independently manage application support priorities and coordinate with vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale distribution, industrial supply, or a related industry.
• Exposure to WMS, CRM, EDI, and B2B eCommerce platforms.
• Experience with SQL, reporting tools, cloud applications, or data analytics.
• Familiarity with business process automation and AI-enabled enterprise applications.
• Experience supporting ERP modernization or integration projects.
