Job summary

Savage Services is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business teams with technology, owning a portfolio of enterprise apps and coordinating projects that optimize processes. You will partner with business functions and leverage AI tooling to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

You will learn systems deeply, translate needs into actionable requirements, and drive improvements across data quality, adoption, and efficiency while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a business, operations, or technology role across people, processes, and systems.
• Hands-on experience configuring or administering a business application (users, roles and access, workflows)
• Proven ability to gather requirements and turn business needs into clear, actionable work.
• Strong business judgment, curiosity, and a practical approach to process improvements.
• Experience coordinating projects with tasks, dependencies, decisions, and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of enterprise and business-dedicated applications, serving as full administrator for some and supporting power users.
• Manage configuration, access and roles, workflows, documentation, and vendor relationships for assigned systems.
• Build trusted relationships with leaders, SMEs, frontline users, vendors, and technical teams as the main contact for business functions.
• Learn processes, users, and data behind each system and identify ways to improve processes, data quality, and adoption.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and tradeoffs; develop recommendations with leadership.
• Coordinate implementations, upgrades, integrations, and process improvements from planning to testing, rollout and post-go-live support.
• Keep projects moving by clarifying responsibilities, tracking work in Jira, and surfacing risks early.
• Handle requests, incidents, and enhancement ideas; troubleshoot and bring in experts when needed.
• Use AI tooling as a standard part of the workflow.
• Cross-train across systems to provide backup coverage and strengthen continuity.
