As a key Savage team member, you will connect Savage’s business teams with the technology that supports them by owning a portfolio of enterprise and business-dedicated applications, partnering closely with assigned business functions, and coordinating the projects that help those teams get more from their systems. This is a business-first role, not a pure system administration role: success comes from understanding the processes behind each system, shaping practical solutions, and following through, with AI tooling as a standard part of how you work. The role offers a direct path to Senior and Lead Business Systems Analyst, and into project management or functional roles.

- Build trusted relationships with leaders, subject matter experts, frontline users, vendors, and technical teams, serving as the main point of contact for assigned business functions
- Learn the processes, users, and data behind each system, not just the screens and settings, and find ways to improve processes, data quality, user adoption, and system effectiveness
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, options, and tradeoffs; develop well-reasoned recommendations and work with business and technology leadership to reach decisions
- Coordinate implementations, upgrades, integrations, acquisitions, and process improvements starting with requirements and planning all the way through testing, training, rollout, and post-go-live support
- Keep projects moving with business leaders, project managers, vendors, and specialists by clarifying responsibilities, tracking work and decisions in Jira, and surfacing risks early
- Handle requests, incidents, and enhancement ideas: troubleshooting issues, identifying likely root causes, and bringing in deeper expertise when needed
- Use AI tooling as a standard part of the workflow
- Cross-train across systems to provide backup coverage and strengthen continuity across the team

- Strong business judgment, curiosity, and an eye for practical process improvements
- Experience coordinating projects: keeping tasks, dependencies, decisions, and follow-ups on track
- Strong troubleshooting skills: finding likely root causes and pulling in the right expertise
- Practical use of business-grade AI tooling (Claude, Copilot, Grok Bot, or equivalent) to produce real work such as drafting requirements, automating workflows, generating documentation, building test scripts, delivering training materials, and analysis
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organization and follow-through, balancing daily support with multiple projects
- An adaptable, service-oriented team player who enjoys learning new systems and business domains
- BA/BS degree in business, information systems, supply chain, operations management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent applicable work experience
