Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Project Management, Supply Chain or related business major.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be within one year of final graduation at internship time.
  • Experience solving problems with AI-powered tools like Microsoft Copilot and GenAI.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements across industries.
  • Technical proficiency aligned to the assigned capability area.
  • Team player who can work independently with a creative and analytical mindset.
  • Growth mindset and openness to feedback to strengthen performance.
  • Interest in pursuing professional certifications and a strong academic background.
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting and finance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients in the areas of finance, operations, people, and change.
  • Collaborate with Protiviti clients and teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to complex business problems.
  • Gain experience across different industries and develop technical, professional, and leadership capabilities.
  • Participate in Liftoff with Protiviti onboarding and The Intern Challenge experiential learning course.
  • Work across various industries and engage in internal initiatives.
  • Receive hands-on training and interact with leaders across the practice.
  • Complete project experiences assigned by Talent Managers based on career growth, skills, and business needs.
  • Apply finance performance management methodologies aligning people, processes, and technology to drive efficiency and transformation.
  • Support financial reporting remediation and compliance, including monitoring accounting rules and addressing reporting challenges.
  • Help organizations develop employee experiences, attract and retain talent, and enable sustained behavior changes.
  • Support supply chain and operations improvements by reducing cost and risk, improving efficiency, and executing operations across business functions.
  • Participate in committees, employee network groups, and social, civic, and networking activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Supply Chain, or other business majors
