Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, MIS)
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of internship
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical tasks
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements across industries
  • Technical proficiency aligning with the assigned capability area
  • Works effectively in teams and independently
  • Applies creativity and analytical thinking to problem-solving
  • Evaluates, synthesizes, organizes, and interprets data effectively
  • Growth mindset and openness to feedback

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality client-focused solutions

Job description

  • Work with Protiviti’s clients, typically among the world’s leading companies
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to complex business problems
  • Gain experience across different industries and develop technical, professional, and leadership capabilities
  • Work across Business Process Audit and Advisory or Technology Audit and Advisory
  • Explore business processes, identify and mitigate emerging risks, develop solutions, and encourage best practices
  • Help clients meet regulatory and compliance requirements and improve core business process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage risk, monitor and test controls, enhance security, and improve corporate governance
  • Assess and advise on technology risks and opportunities, including cybersecurity, AI risk, data governance, and cloud
  • Advise on controls, regulatory compliance, privacy, software development, technology resilience, and technology governance
  • Participate in projects assigned by Talent Managers based on career growth, skills, and business needs
  • Interact with leaders across the practice
  • Participate in internal initiatives and receive hands‑on training
  • Collaborate with advisors, team members, and clients
Requirements

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills

  • Must be 18 years of age at the time of the internship
  • Successful completion of a background check is required as a condition of employment
