Job summary

Protiviti invites rising graduates in Minneapolis to join our internship program focusing on Finance, Operations, People and Change. You will work across industries, partnering with Talent Managers on hands-on projects to build technical, professional, and leadership capabilities.

You’ll contribute to client engagements, learn to apply AI-powered productivity tools, and develop analytical and reporting skills while collaborating with cross-functional teams during business hours.

Qualifications

  • Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Copilot, GenAI).
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements across industries.
  • Foundation in accounting and finance processes and objectives.
  • Documentation of findings and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to deliver client-focused solutions.

Job description

  • Help clients in finance, operations, people and change
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to complex business problems
  • Work across various industries and engage in internal initiatives
  • Participate in hands‑on project experiences assigned by Talent Managers
  • Develop technical, professional, and leadership capabilities
  • Work in one of four areas: Finance Performance Management; Financial Reporting Remediation & Compliance; People & Change; or Supply Chain & Operations
  • Support finance leaders with efficiency, productivity, and transformation solutions
  • Help companies address financial reporting, accounting, compliance, and reporting challenges
  • Develop employee experiences and support sustained behavior change for large‑scale initiatives
  • Support cost reduction, efficiency improvement, risk reduction, and operations execution across complex business functions
  • Interact with leaders across the practice and collaborate with advisors, committees, employee network groups, and community activities
  • Complete work in the designated location during business hours for the entire internship duration
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Supply Chain, or another business major
  • Authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship
  • Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or GenAI
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements across various industries
  • Technical proficiency aligned to the assigned capability area
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and independently
