Dow Jones & Co. is seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to sit at the intersection of data analytics, cross-functional execution, and corporate strategy.

You will build the operational cadence, reporting frameworks, and metric visibility that drive our business forward. You will own cross-functional KPI tracking and lead critical strategic initiatives, including evaluating acquisitions, new business lines or market expansion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Business Operations, Corporate Strategy, FP&A, or Management Consulting.
• Proven track record of complex, cross-functional projects with tight deadlines.
• Experience with M&A integrations, corporate development, or large-scale business transformation programs.
• Background evaluating, onboarding, or managing strategic vendor, channel, or commercial partner relationships.
• High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and modern BI software (Looker, Tableau, etc).
• Execution: break down ambiguous problems into structured plans.

Responsibilities

• Establish division-wide dashboards and KPI tracking.
• Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly business cadence meetings; align KPIs and track risks to milestones.
• End-to-end execution of cross-functional strategic projects to increase efficiency or drive top-line growth.
• Program-manage operational due diligence, cross-department tasks, and post-acquisition integration workstreams.
• Evaluate potential strategic partners and vendors for operational fit, cost structures, and alignment with business goals.
• Lead generative AI tools adoption within the operations ecosystem to automate bottlenecks.
• Support annual budget planning with the Senior Director, Business Operations and finance partners.
• Continuously review processes to identify efficiencies; remove friction and automate tasks.
• Resolve operational bottlenecks and inter-departmental misalignments.
