Job summary

The Imaging Center at Wolf River is seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Business Office Specialist I to join our team in Germantown, TN. This part-time, PRN position supports daily front-office operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and pre-certification/insurance authorizations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and knowledge of medical terminology and Microsoft Office.

The Business Office Specialist I supports daily front-office operations, including patient registration, scheduling, and pre-certification/insurance authorizations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and register patients
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient visits
• Assist with insurance verification, pre-certification, and authorizations
• Answer phones and communicate with patients and referring providers
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the patient experience
