Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager for a long-term care facility in Missouri. You will oversee the Business Office operations, ensuring accuracy in resident funds, billing, and census records, in line with regulations.

The role requires Medicare/Medicaid apps and claims experience, excellent communication, and knowledge of applicable guidelines. You will coordinate with administrators and healthcare teams to maintain financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in Medicare/Medicaid applications and claims.
• Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers and agencies.
• Knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Follow PCC daily, weekly, and month-end tasks.
• Ensure Daily Census Verification is completed.
• Record charges for rooms, ancillary, and miscellaneous in PCC.
• Follow the RUG Billing Triple Check Process continuously.
• Manage private pay billing and the Centralized Statement process.
• Manage Medicare ADRs and appeals.
