Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• One year in post-acute care or other geriatric-related field preferred.
• Experience in Medicare and Insurance Billing required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bookkeeping: posting payments and charges to patient ledgers and balancing daily receipts.
• Maintain facility checkbook and reconcile it regularly.
• Responsible for patient accounts and assist BOM in their absence.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Adhere to Life Care's Code of Conduct and mandatory compliance training.
• Communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
