Scope of Supervision: Liaises with Members of the Leadership Team. Serves as Manager on Duty as required.

Role:

Manages the day-to-day operations of the Business Office, ensuring compliance with Juniper Communities’ philosophy, hallmarks, policies, procedures, and all relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Juniper Communities’ philosophy, hallmarks, policies, and procedures governing the Business Office.
  • Payroll: Use Smartlinx to perform payroll functions, including maintaining associate records, processing time cards, preparing paychecks, and calculating federal and state payroll taxes and deductions.
  • Maintain accurate associate records.
  • Provide associates with benefit information as needed.
  • Coordinate associate benefits such as medical, life insurance, and 401(k) retirement plans.

Educational/Vocational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required; an Associate Degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • Previous management experience in healthcare or service-related settings.
  • Aptitude for math and computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of applicable governmental regulations.
  • Understanding of the physiology and psychology of older adults.
