Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. offers a Business Development Trainee Program in Bloomington, IL. This full-time, 2-year program develops future business development executives with a focus on proactive sales and customer engagement within Parts, Service, and Rental divisions.

Upon completion, trainees transition to a Business Development Representative role, handling the full sales cycle for In-Stock Trucks, Parts, and Service, using CRM and SmartSpec tools. CDL preferred or obtainable is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate's degree preferred in business, marketing, transportation, or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, over the phone, and in person.
• Comfortable soliciting new business and meeting new people.
• Disciplined, with good organizational and time management skills.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel up to 25% with overnight stays within multi-state service territory.
• Intermediate experience with CRM systems and Google Drive preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain CDL.
• Dependable and reliable attendance.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Progress through the Training Phases within the 1.25 to 2.5-year timeline.
• Develop core business competencies including presentations and prospecting.
• Learn day-to-day operations and customer engagement protocols within Parts and Service.
• Shadow Sales/Ops experts to learn enterprise software (CRM, SmartSpec).
• Identify potential customers and generate cross-departmental leads.
• Coordinate product demos and make customer calls to increase market penetration.
