Job description

77 Plastic Surgery | San Francisco, California

Full-Time | Primarily In Person

Base salary: $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience

Total compensation: approximately $100,000–$130,000, based on performance

You know you are capable of more.

Are you a proven relationship-driven salesperson who feels underused, underchallenged, or limited by your current role?

Do you want meaningful work, substantial inbound opportunity, clear performance targets, strong earning potential, and the chance to help build something you may eventually lead?

Do you believe deeply in beauty, aesthetics, confidence, and personal transformation—and know how to turn interest into action?

We should talk.

77 Plastic Surgery is hiring a Business Development Manager to take ownership of 300–400+ inbound patient inquiries each month and convert qualified prospects into attended consultations.

This is not a receptionist, scheduling, or traditional patient-coordinator position.

It is a sales and conversion role delivered through exceptional patient care.

You will proactively call, text, and email prospects; re-engage those who go quiet; uncover hesitation; address concerns; and confidently ask the right people to take the next step.

To thrive here, you must bring both sides of the role:

A genuine belief in aesthetic transformation—in the commercial strength to create action.

What Winning Looks Like

You will have a clear scoreboard.

Success includes:

  • Rapid response to new inquiries
  • Consistent, high-quality outbound follow-up
  • Qualified prospects booked for consultations
  • Complete and accurate CRM management
  • Persistent follow-up across days and weeks
  • Continuous improvement in booking and conversion performance

Your results will be visible, measurable, coached, and rewarded.

The right person will find that exciting.

What You Will Own
  • A pipeline of 300–400+ predominantly inbound leads each month
  • Phone, text, and email follow-up
  • Re-engagement of stalled and unresponsive prospects
  • Qualification for fit, seriousness, readiness, and timing
  • Conversations about fear, cost, uncertainty, and competing options
  • Consultation booking and confirmation
  • Reduction of cancellations and no-shows
  • CRM accuracy and pipeline discipline
  • Daily activity and weekly performance goals
  • Improvement of scripts, workflows, and follow-up systems

These prospects have already expressed interest in plastic surgery or aesthetic treatment.

Your job is not simply to answer questions.

Your job is to create momentum.

Who Will Thrive Here

You combine emotional intelligence with serious ambition.

You are warm, polished, persuasive, resilient, commercially sharp, and highly accountable.

You make people feel understood, but you are not passive. You ask direct questions, uncover what is really holding someone back, follow up when others stop, and confidently guide qualified prospects toward a decision.

You:

  • Love speaking with people
  • Build trust quickly
  • Are confident and engaging on the phone
  • Enjoy competition, goals, and measurable performance
  • Handle rejection without losing momentum
  • Take ownership when results fall short
  • Constantly look for ways to improve
  • Want your compensation and career growth to reflect the value you create

You understand that ethical sales is not pressure or manipulation.

It is helping the right person make a clear, informed decision.

You Believe in What We Do

This role requires more than sales ability.

You should have a genuine connection to beauty, aesthetics, confidence, personal transformation, or the role appearance can play in quality of life.

You do not see plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine as superficial. You understand that, when done thoughtfully and ethically, they can help people feel more confident, more aligned with themselves, and more at home in their own skin.

Patients can tell when someone is merely following a script—and when someone truly believes in the work.

Experience We Value

Relevant backgrounds may include:

  • Consultative or high-ticket sales
  • Lead conversion or appointment setting
  • Patient or treatment coordination with measurable sales responsibility
  • Plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, cosmetic dentistry, or elective healthcare
  • Luxury beauty, wellness, hospitality, retail, or client services
  • Membership sales, real estate, financial services, or another performance-driven field

Plastic surgery experience is helpful, but not required.

What matters most is proof that you have personally produced measurable results—and that you care deeply about this category.

This Is Not for You If

Do not apply if you:

  • Prefer processing requests rather than creating action
  • Dislike phone calls, direct asks, or repeated follow-up
  • See sales as pressure rather than service
  • Want credit for activity without producing outcomes
  • Avoid accountability, coaching, or performance measurement
  • Love beauty but do not want responsibility for growth
  • Want a comfortable role with limited pressure or competition
  • Resist technology, change, or continuous improvement

We are looking for someone who wants to win—and wants to win by serving patients exceptionally well.

Growth and Future Opportunity

This role begins with ownership of lead-to-consultation conversion.

Proven success can lead to responsibility for:

  • Post-consult follow-up
  • Treatment and procedure conversion
  • Deposit collection
  • Procedure booking
  • Referrals and retention
  • Cross-selling and long-term relationship growth
  • Leadership of the broader patient-growth function

The long-term opportunity is to become far more than an appointment setter.

You can help build the systems, strategy, team, and growth engine behind an ambitious premium aesthetic practice.

Greater results and responsibility can lead to greater authority, title, leadership opportunity, and earning potential.

For an exceptional long-term performer, the ceiling is not predetermined.

An AI-Native, Small-Team Culture

77 Plastic Surgery is becoming an AI-native company.

We use AI, automation, modern technology, data, and CRM systems to improve communication, follow-up, personalization, organization, and performance.

You do not need to be an AI expert today. You do need to be technologically confident, curious, adaptable, and eager to learn.

We are also a growing entrepreneurial practice, not a large corporation with rigid departmental walls.

Every team member occasionally helps outside their primary lane. This may include supporting reception, scheduling, patient flow, care coordination, front-office or back-office operations, and other reasonable duties when needed.

Flexibility matters, but these responsibilities support—not replace—your primary mission of business development and patient conversion.

Compensation and Schedule

This role offers:

  • Base salary of $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience
  • Performance incentives tied initially to qualified attended consultations and key performance standards
  • Total compensation of approximately $100,000–$130,000, based on individual performance
  • Additional advancement and earning potential as responsibility expands

This is a full-time, primarily on-site position in Hayes Valley, San Francisco.

Some thoughtful follow-up outside standard office hours may occasionally be needed. Responsiveness, judgment, professionalism, and reasonable boundaries all matter.

We are not looking for someone who merely wants to work in beauty.

We are looking for someone who believes in the work, loves the pursuit, owns the number, and wants to build something exceptional.
