Advu Media (pronounced Ad-view) is a bold, modern media agency disrupting the way small and mid-sized businesses advertise. We combine cutting-edge programmatic media buying (CTV/OTT, broadcast & cable TV, DOOH, social, audio) with high-impact creative and AI-powered tools to help our clients Disrupt. Deliver. Dominate.

We’re looking for a confident, curious, and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to help us grow our client base. This is a remote, commission-only role, perfect for someone who thrives on hunting for leads, building relationships, and showing businesses how modern advertising actually works and why it puts big smiles on our clients’ faces.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, and connect with small to mid-sized businesses that need media strategy and creative advertising support
  • Conduct outreach via email, phone, social platforms (especially LinkedIn), and inbound follow-up
  • Manage lead generation and tracking in HubSpot CRM
  • Book meetings and hand off warm leads to our media and creative leadership team
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales and Chief Media Strategist to refine messaging and target verticals
  • Represent Advu Media with professionalism and personality, this role is the first impression

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in outbound sales, business development, or SDR/BDR role preferred
  • Comfortable using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and tools like HubSpot, Apollo.io, Lemlist, or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with digital advertising terms and tactics (e.g., CTV, programmatic, paid social, etc.) a plus
  • Tech-savvy, organized, and able to manage your own daily pipeline
  • Self-starter mindset; able to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with or selling into marketing, creative, or advertising agencies
  • Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in prompt engineering or used generative AI tools to improve prospecting, write killer emails, or build smarter workflows
  • Familiarity with cold outreach platforms like Mailshake, Instantly, Woodpecker, or Lemlist
  • An eye for great creative — you can recognize a solid ad when you see one
  • Knowledge of ad performance metrics and media KPIs (ROAS, CTR, CPM, etc.)
  • Confidence with video calls and virtual pitch presentations
  • A creative or quirky side — memes, gifs, or clever outreach subject lines welcome
  • Prior experience in a commission-only or entrepreneurial role
  • Based in the U.S. Southeast (we’re Florida-founded, but open to all time zones)
