Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting, Austin-based private equity-focused firm, is seeking a Business Development Analyst to identify and develop acquisition opportunities for portfolio companies. You will conduct high-volume outbound calls/emails, research targets, and qualify opportunities, building relationships with owners, brokers, and bankers.

You'll manage the CRM, use data and AI tools to improve sourcing, and collaborate with the M&A team.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in sales, business development, sourcing, or client development.
Bachelor’s degree; strong academic performance preferred.
Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
Interest in private equity, M&A, and business development.

Responsibilities

Research and identify potential acquisition targets.
Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and follow-up.
Build relationships with business owners, founders, brokers, and investment bankers.
Qualify potential acquisition opportunities.
Maintain and manage your pipeline in the CRM and provide qualified opportunities to the M&A team.
Use data and AI-powered tools to improve sourcing efforts.
