We seek a Business Development Representative who will promotes strategic growth for the company by identifying leads and closing transactions, with a concentration on mental health facilities, recovery centers, hospitals, psychiatry practices, and behavioral health clinics.



This position will require 75% travel. Candidate is preferred to live in North Carolina near a major airport



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Creates and maintains successful relations with existing customers and potential customers by interacting professionally and pro-actively

  • Promotes strategic growth for the company by identifying leads and closing transactions, with a concentration on mental health facilities, recovery centers, hospitals, psychiatry practices, and behavioral health clinics.

  • Attends state and national conferences in an effort to maintain relationships with current customers and identify prospective customers

  • Acts as a liaison between our company and the customer base through contracting and implementation process

Required Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of sales and/or behavioral health/long-term care experience

  • Ability to travel up to 75%



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience

  • Solid customer service skills

  • Understanding of computer and related products; knowledge of PC skills including use of standard MS Office applications

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain longitudinal relationships

  • Proven solid organizational skills

  • Proven solid presentation skill

  • Live in the North Carolina Territory



The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $115,000 annually based on full-time employment. Role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
