What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive conversion of 1M new revenue from new customers, focusing on public sector (SLED) and commercial markets in Philadelphia, PA.
- Develop territory penetration strategies, analyze performance, and adjust tactics to meet revenue goals.
- Qualify prospects from internal and external leads based on customer size, spend, and potential; route opportunities to sales team members.
- Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospective customers to present Quill’s values and solutions.
- Create engaging presentations using marketing collateral to drive engagement and conversion.
- Represent Quill at conferences, tradeshows, and events to acquire new customers.
- Present custom pricing solutions to high-growth commercial customers.
- Leverage education contracts, cooperative purchasing partnerships, and bids to acquire new education customers or grow existing accounts.
- Ensure smooth transition to the account management team upon customer commitment.
- Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas and key metrics.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM, including activity logs and pipeline updates.
- Continuously seek improvement through coaching and peer learning.
- Contribute positively to team culture, share learnings, and build trust.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and peers to drive revenue beyond traditional office supplies.
- Promote company values, services, and product benefits.
- Grow share of wallet by consolidating business, creating customized pricing, and developing trusted advisor relationships.

What’s Needed - Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED.
- 4+ years of field sales experience.
- Approximately 50% travel within the Philadelphia, PA territory based on appointments, customer needs, and conferences.
- Ability to work remotely within the territory.
What’s Needed - Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ months of relevant experience in the public sector market.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven business development experience.
