We’re hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR), to drive new-logo growth across the Kentucky and Indiana markets. This is a sales role for someone who enjoys prospecting, creating opportunities, building relationships, and closing business.
As a BDR, you will own your territory and pipeline from lead creation to close. You’ll prospect small businesses, qualify opportunities, uncover business needs, and sell Matrix solutions that help customers reduce risk, improve productivity, and support growth.
You will be expected to run your assigned territory as if it were your own business — managing your prospecting plan, pipeline, campaigns, customer conversations, and close plans with focus and accountability.
This role includes outbound phone, email, social media, marketing campaign follow-up, lead qualification, and event support. Matrix expects strong activity, consultative selling, and consistent pipeline creation, including building forecasted pipeline toward 3x expected quota.
