Base pay range

$55,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Our client, an organization transforming access to renewable energy through innovation and partnerships, is hiring a Business Development Representative (B2B) to drive new business, accelerate sales growth, and cultivate lasting client relationships. This role is ideal for a results-driven sales professional with a proactive approach and a proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and deliver value through each stage of the sales process.

About the Role:

The Business Development Representative (B2B) will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, engaging prospects, and converting leads into long-term clients. This includes prospecting, outreach, proposal development, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Prepare and present customized proposals that align with client needs and business objectives
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring seamless deal execution
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and post-sale support
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, networking opportunities, client meetings, and occasional company meetings at headquarters (both virtual and in person)

Qualifications:

  • 1–2+ years of experience in B2B outside sales or business development, with a focus on new client acquisition
  • Track record of prospecting, closing deals, and growing accounts within a full sales cycle
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Experience managing full sales cycles, including presentations, proposals, and contracts, with strong follow-through
  • Proficiency with CRM software for pipeline management and tracking sales performance
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment
