VertiGIS Ltd. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Business Development Representative to grow the ConnectMaster Telco business. You will identify and qualify new sales opportunities, collaborating with Account Managers and Marketing to drive outbound outreach and nurture inbound leads.
The role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and product, requiring you to learn the ConnectMaster use cases, map buyer pain points, and schedule next steps with decision makers across telecom operators.
VertiGIS builds powerful GIS software that helps organizations design, manage, and operate complex networks and infrastructure. Our products enhance leading mapping platforms, most notably Esri’s ArcGIS, and are used globally by telecommunications operators, utilities, and public sector organizations.
Within VertiGIS, the Telecommunications Business Unit focuses on enabling fiber and telecom operators to plan, document, and operate their networks more efficiently. Our flagship telco product, ConnectMaster, supports the full network lifecycle across planning, design, documentation, and operations.

We are looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support the growth of our Telecommunications business, with a specific focus on ConnectMaster.
Reporting to the Director of Global Business Development, you will work closely with Account Managers and Marketing to identify, qualify, and progress new sales opportunities with telecommunications operators. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and product, and is well suited to someone who enjoys outbound prospecting, structured follow-up, and developing a strong understanding of a technical product and its value.
You will support inbound leads from campaigns, events, and webinars, while also driving proactive outbound outreach to net-new telecom prospects.
