Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Business Development Representative with a love for selling and a tenacious and methodical approach to prospecting and developing new business opportunities. This role is remote-friendly within Canada.

Responsibilities
  1. Prospect new leads and build a pipeline for account executives.
  2. Follow up and qualify inbound requests via phone and email.
  3. Organize and prioritize sales leads in CRM, measure performance.
  4. Become an expert in BioRender’s software features and benefits.
  5. Research companies and identify key stakeholders.
  6. Develop tailored pitches for target accounts.
  7. Collaborate with Account Executives on outbound prospecting.
  8. Assist in driving attendance at BioRender events.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience as a BDR in SaaS.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfort with cold calling.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Willing to work during EST hours.
  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related fields is a plus.
