About the Job
This is a field‑based, relationship‑building role with a product that’s genuinely easy to believe in. You’ll drive a planned route across the southwest suburbs of Minneapolis every day, introducing our repair service and building relationships with property managers and facility managers. No sales experience required – if you bring the right attributes, we’ll train you to excel.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
- Start your morning at home: plan your route, review your target accounts, prep follow‑up notes from the day before.
- Drive your planned route – typically 12–15 stops across southwest Minneapolis neighborhoods such as St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Edina, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie.
- Walk into apartment communities, maintenance offices, and commercial properties to introduce yourself and build relationships with the people who make repair decisions.
- Deliver a proven introduction and ask questions to better understand the needs and motivations of our customers.
- Follow up with contacts who weren’t available, keep your pipeline moving, and watch early conversations become recurring accounts.
- Log every visit, note, and follow‑up in our software before your day ends.
- Attend a weekly team meeting (breakfast included) to review numbers, share wins, and receive coaching.
What We’re Looking For – Attributes Over Experience
- People‑oriented and persistent – You’re comfortable introducing yourself to new people, building rapport quickly, and following up because you said you would.
- Eager to learn – You’ll absorb a proven script and playbook, deliver it well, keep improving with feedback and coaching, and take responsibility for results.
- Curious – Comfortable asking questions and seeks to serve customers by understanding them first.
- Reliable and routine‑driven – This role runs on daily habits – routing, logging visits, sending follow‑ups – and those who succeed execute the process every single day.
- Detail‑oriented by habit – You log your visits, track your contacts, and treat follow‑up like part of the job, not an afterthought.
- Self‑directed – You manage your own schedule and route. Accountability lives in your daily logs and your results.
Backgrounds That Tend to Transfer Well
- Any people‑facing role where showing up consistently and communicating clearly was the job.
- Retail or customer service – you know how to read a room and handle objections gracefully.
- Hospitality – you’re used to making people feel at ease and building rapport quickly.
- Property management or real estate – you already speak the language of the people we call on.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Must be based in or near southwest Twin Cities – daily travel throughout the southwest region.
- Comfortable learning new software – CRM and routing tools provided and trained.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
