The RolePathway2Careers (P2C) is looking for a motivated, organized, and relationship-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team in Maryville, TN. This role will play a critical part in supporting our Regional Sales Managers by prospecting, qualifying leads, and booking meetings with school districts and education leaders across assigned regions.As a BDR at P2C, you will be on the front lines of our growth, serving as an extension of the regional sales team. You will focus on generating interest and setting qualified meetings through outbound prospecting, inbound follow-up, and strong collaboration with Sales and Marketing. While cold outreach is part of the role, this position also has a strong field component, including support for regional conferences, events, and convenings.You will act as a trusted first point of contact for prospective districts, introducing P2C’s career exploration, labor market, and career-connected learning solutions and ensuring a smooth handoff to the Regional Sales Managers.This role is designed as a development opportunity with clear exposure to the full sales process. High performers will gain experience in discovery, demos, pipeline management, and may progress into full-cycle sales roles over time.This position will be in-person for 6 months, then can turn into hybrid.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport 2-3 Regional Sales Managers by prospecting target accounts and booking qualified meetingsResearch and identify target school districts, state agencies, and education stakeholders within assigned regionsGenerate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and inbound follow-upRepresent Pathway2Careers at regional conferences, trade shows, and education events to generate new leads and strengthen relationshipsServe as a professional, client-facing ambassador for P2C, confidently communicating our value proposition to educators and administratorsCollaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers to align on target accounts, messaging, and outreach strategiesMaintain accurate and timely records of all outreach, conversations, and meetings in HubSpotSupport pre- and post-event outreach and follow-up efforts to maximize ROI from conferences and conveningsStay informed on K–12 education trends, workforce readiness initiatives, and competitor offeringsMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for meetings booked, qualified leads, and pipeline contributionPerforms other related duties as assigned.Other dutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
