Job summary

Lapels Laundromat & Dry Cleaning – East Boston, MA is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to grow our commercial, residential, and pickup/delivery business.

You will develop relationships with local businesses, promote our services including Bounce luggage storage, and help design a delivery-route program. Commission-only structure with uncapped earning potential rewards proactive, entrepreneurial candidates.

• Experience in sales, business development or account development.
• Strong communication and networking skills.
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, organized and results-driven.
• Comfortable prospecting businesses in person and developing leads independently.
• Tech-savvy and willing to learn new platforms.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and secure new customers across various sectors.
• Develop relationships with organizations and referral partners.
• Promote Bounce luggage storage location to hotels and partners.
• Conduct outreach through in-person visits, phone, email, networking, and events.
• Prepare a weekly target prospect list for management review.
• Identify local events to attend or target weekly.
• Maintain a sales pipeline and track prospects, revenue, and accounts.
• Learn ordering platforms (Cents POS, website, Google ordering, Uber, DoorDash) and assist onboarding of commercial and residential customers.
• Help increase adoption and recurring use of pickup & delivery services.
• Help build recurring volume to support the launch of a pickup & delivery program.
• Develop delivery routes, schedules, and customer communications.
