Gruma Corporation in Portland, OR seeks a Business Development Manager to lead sales programs in the assigned region, serve as the primary contact for customers, and drive growth in key accounts within the consumer products sector, especially perishable foods. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and 4+ years in sales/account management.

Candidates should be able to analyze data, negotiate effectively, and communicate clearly in English and Spanish.

Formación

• Experience in key account sales in consumer products, especially perishable foods.
• Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• English and Spanish language abilities preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Develop key programs to grow the business and achieve the sales plan.
• Advise customers on product benefits to become category leader.
• Inform customers on sales trends and opportunities in the category.
• Control promotional expenses.
• Establish and build customer relationships to grow the business.
• Ensure maximum sales through promotions and space management.
• Provide input in sales plans through data analysis.
• Perform other duties as assigned
