About the Role:
Jennmar Services, a proven leader in coal mine labor staffing, is expanding. We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to lead our charge into new industries—specifically construction, oil & gas, and agriculture. If you’ve got B2B sales experience, a strong work ethic, and can talk business in a hard hat or a boardroom, we want to talk to you.
This role is designed for someone who’s self-driven, knows how to build relationships from the ground up, and is ready to help us grow into new markets while still staying hands-on with key accounts.
What You’ll Do:
• Identify, pursue, and secure new clients in construction, oil & gas, agriculture, and related industries
• Sell both temporary and full-time labor solutions to companies throughout the Midwest
• Build strong relationships with site managers, project leads, and company decision-makers
• Travel regularly to meet with clients on-site and understand their workforce needs
• Assist in account management to ensure clients receive top-tier service and support
• Work closely with internal recruiters and operations to ensure job placements go smoothly
• Report regularly on sales pipeline, targets, and performance metrics
• Represent Jennmar Services with professionalism, grit, and integrity
What We’re Looking For:
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in staffing, construction services, industrial supply, or similar fields
• Comfortable working with blue-collar industries and understanding their labor needs
• Strong network and understanding of the Midwest market ()
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the region
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive growth from scratch
• Great communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and maintain long-term relationships
