  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify hazards.
  • Monitor safety performance and assist with incident investigations and reporting.
  • Conduct safety orientations and training sessions.
  • Supervise first aid personnel and assist with safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Perform safety audits of work areas and equipment, and conduct risk assessments.
  • Contribute to safety documentation, environmental and waste management plans.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field, with 3+ years of safety experience in construction or 5+ years in a safety role in commercial construction.
  • Knowledge of federal and state safety regulations and reporting procedures.
  • Basic industrial hygiene knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to work in remote areas and provide innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stay in remote locations for extended periods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PDF editing software.
  • Understanding of construction drawings basics.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Certifications such as ASP, GSP, OHST, or CHST.
  • Knowledge of US Army Corps of Engineers EM-385-1-1, NFPA codes, OSHA 30-hour Construction training, ANSI standards.
