Job summary

Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC is seeking a Director/Business Development Manager in Baton Rouge to drive new leads and profitable revenue in Chemicals, O&G, Power, Metals, and Advanced Facilities sectors. You will report to VP/Sr.

Director Business Development and lead cross-functional teams to secure opportunities from RFPs to contracts. The role requires a proven sales track record, a regional network, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience closing engineering deals ranging from $500K to $20M+.
• Current established professional network in Chemicals, O&G, Power, Metals, Advanced Facilities regions.
• Proven track record of generating own sales opportunities.
• Effective communicator, able to influence in competitive bids.
• Familiar with contract negotiation with legal teams.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops sustaining client relationships to foster opportunities.
• Creates sales and execution plans aligned to client needs.
• Delivers results at or above sales forecast with profitability focus.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to cross-sell.
• Communicates services to clients and recommends suitable options.
• Responds to RFPs, RFIs, and project docs as primary contact.
• Coordinates sales with marketing, management, accounting, logistics, and tech groups.
• Maintains sales forecast and tracks opportunities regularly.
• Identifies new growth areas and monitors market trends.
• Leads bid preps and contract-signature processes.
