Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, and market research to expand DMC’s client portfolio.
  • Develop and deliver compelling estimates, quotes, and proposals for control panel design, assembly, and electrical system integration, ensuring alignment with client needs.
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage client interactions, track sales pipelines, and maintain ownership of customer relationships from lead generation to project closure.
  • Collaborate with prospective clients and DMC’s engineering teams to deeply understand project requirements, technical specifications, and customer goals.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, positioning DMC as a trusted partner for innovative electrical systems solutions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to enhance sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Partner with marketing and technical teams to develop targeted campaigns, presentations, and materials that showcase DMC’s expertise in electrical systems.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes, sharing insights to optimize business development efforts.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on industrial equipment, control panels, or electrical systems.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in acquiring and managing key accounts, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, control panel design, and industry standards (e.g., UL, NEC, IEC).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree or technical certifications (e.g., PE, PMP) a plus.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; proficiency with CRM platforms and MS Office Suite.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel locally (up to 30%) with occasional overnight trips for client meetings, trade shows, or industry events.
  • Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, and collaborative, with a passion for solving complex challenges and delivering client-centric solutions.
  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $110,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Incentives: Performance-based bonuses and uncapped commission structure tied to sales achievements.
