Job summary

Deutsche Börse Group in Chicago seeks a Business Developer to market and promote data and analytics offerings across international clients. You will identify demand, develop sales strategies, and manage a robust pipeline, presenting ad-hoc decks to clients.

You bring at least 5 years in sales of financial data or analytics, strong communication, and a proven track record. Remote/hybrid work is available; salary around $130k–$150k with benefits.

Qualifications

• University degree in business administration or a related subject.
• Minimum 5+ years in sales trading, sales of financial data and analytics or sales of investment products.
• Financial market experience with understanding of product offerings, ideally from trading or quant funds.
• Proven sales track record with strong commercial attitude and persistence.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, high analytical competence.
• Strong team player and cooperative attitude.

Responsibilities

We are looking to hire a business developer in Chicago to market and promote the data and analytics offering from Deutsche Börse.

Your responsibilities

• You will proactively engage with consumers of data and analytics internationally
• You will do market research, identification of demand and cross-selling opportunities
• You will develop and execute sales strategies
• You will create ad-hoc presentations for internal and external distribution
• You will confidently present the data and analytics offerings and lead client facing meetings
• You bring Business Development capabilities with confident cold calling techniques
• You will manage a pipeline effectively

Your profile

• You have successfully graduated at university in business administration or a related subjects
• You have a minimum of 5+ years experience in sales trading, sales of financial data and analytics or sales of investment products
• You have financial market experience including a deep understanding of product offerings, ideally from working in trading or quant funds
• You bring a proven sales track record, strong commercial attitude and persistence
• You also have excellent communication and presentation skills, high analytical competence
• You are a strong team player and cooperative attitude
