Job summary

SOCOTEC, a leading provider in architecture, engineering and construction consulting, is seeking a Business Development Manager in the US (Orlando area). You will build client relationships, identify opportunities, and sponsor proposals across service lines including building envelope, energy, sustainability and commissioning.

Travel 50% and in-office collaboration are expected. Responsibilities include market research, plan development, outreach, and pricing, with reporting to the Business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or similar preferred.
• 3+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in a construction consulting environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships and sponsor interactions to win projects.
• Develop outreach plans, identify opportunities, and manage proposals.
• Prepare budget and pricing using standard models.
• Attend industry events and coordinate with marketing for materials.
• Travel within territory up to 50% and report on opportunities weekly.
