Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to lead growth in the Mid-Atlantic markets. You will build client relationships, sponsor opportunities, and coordinate proposals across multiple service lines including building, transportation infrastructure, and environmental services.

Reporting to the President, you will help develop outreach plans, maintain a robust pipeline, and collaborate with marketing and technical leaders to win project work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 10+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Account Management.
• Proven experience building client relationships in engineering/infrastructure sectors.
• Strong network within Mid-Atlantic region preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and manage outreach to prospective clients.
• Develop strategic BD plan for PA, DE, MD, DC area.
• Maintain executive-level relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate capture strategies, proposals, and presentations for strategic pursuits.
• Track opportunities and forecast revenue; coordinate with technical teams.
