Aramis Search partners with an established international chemical business to add a Business Development Manager to its Houston team. This hands-on role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing customer relationships and growing the North American business.

You will sell chemicals and related products into industrial markets, build new accounts and expand existing ones, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution and forecast growth.

Qualifications

  • Years of B2B sales, business development or account management experience.
  • Experience within the chemical, petrochemical, polymer, specialty chemical or related industrial markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hands-on business development role.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key industry contacts.
  • Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through pricing, negotiation and account development.
  • Grow existing accounts by identifying new products, applications and opportunities.
  • Monitor market activity, customer requirements and competitor developments to identify areas for growth.
  • Work closely with internal commercial, supply chain and operational teams to support customers and ensure successful execution.
  • Develop sales forecasts, maintain an active pipeline and provide regular updates on commercial activity.
  • Attend customer meetings, conferences and industry events as required.

We are partnering with an established international chemical business looking to add a Business Development Manager to its Houston team.

This is a hands-on commercial role focused on identifying new business opportunities, developing customer relationships and supporting the continued growth of the company's North American business.
