MSH is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to own a U.S. territory, driving net-new business and expanding select accounts in specialty chemicals and advanced materials. You’ll be the primary hunter, shaping strategy and leading opportunities end-to-end.
You’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract, build strategic partnerships, forecast via CRM, and travel regularly (roughly 10–15 days per month) to engage purchasing managers, directors, and C‑suite decision makers.
Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed specialty chemicals and advanced materials company, tracking well north of $200M in revenue this year and scaling quickly. The business operates an asset-light model: it owns proprietary R&D and process technology, develops custom chemical and material solutions, and produces them through a global network of contract manufacturing partners rather than owning its own plants. Customers include manufacturers and distributors across pharmaceutical, agrochemical, industrial, coatings, water treatment, and personal care markets.
With growing traction in the U.S., the company is intentionally building out its American commercial team and is hiring several Senior Business Development Managers across key markets.
This is a true “hunter” business development role with real ownership. You will drive net-new business development within your territory while also inheriting a small number of existing accounts to grow. You'll own the full sales cycle end-to-end — from prospecting through close — and manage the client relationship going forward. You will be supported by a dedicated outreach and coordination resource who helps generate leads and set meetings, so your time can be focused on building relationships, traveling to customers, and closing business.
Competitive base commensurate with experience and location, plus a performance-based commission plan.
