Job summary
ABB Drives seeks a senior professional to drive business development and new growth for Motion Drive Products in the United States. You will lead brand and product acceptance, coordinate with Channel Sales, Channel Programs and the OEM Team, and define sub-segment strategies and go-to-market approaches.
The role reports to the Segment Director, Food & Beverage, and supports ABB’s Motion Drive Products Division in New Berlin, WI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related field with extensive experience in capital sales in industrial sectors.
- 8+ years of experience in capital assist sales, with knowledge of Oil & Gas upstream and downstream.
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into technical applications and solutions.
- Experience with AVL/Frame agreements and channel partner programs is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business growth for ABB Drives by brand and product acceptance in US markets.
- Collaborate with Channel Sales, Channel Program and OEM teams to execute sub-segment strategies.
- Define go-to-market approaches for Motion Drive Products in the United States.
- Travel up to 70% nationally to engage with customers and partners.
