Job Title: Business Development Manager - B2B Ecommerce
Job Overview:The Business Development Manager - B2B Ecommerce will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key B2B ecommerce accounts. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth, develop comprehensive business plans, and execute strategies to achieve sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B ecommerce selling CPG brands and a proven track record of success in managing ecommerce accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive B2B ecommerce sales growth, incorporating strategic portfolio expansion into new channels such as Healthcare, Education and Foodservice.
Manage and nurture relationships with key B2B ecommerce accounts, including Amazon Business, Webstaurant and other partners.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's B2B ecommerce footprint and maximize sales opportunities.
Monitor account performance and work with customers to optimize product listings, pricing and promotional strategies.
Oversee and manage relationships with agency partners, ensuring effective collaboration, performance alignment, and achievement of business objectives.
Be the voice of the Customer for internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and successful execution of ecommerce initiatives.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
Monitor and report on the performance of ecommerce accounts, including sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in B2B ecommerce and incorporate relevant insights into the company's strategy.
Develop and implement strategies to manage and reduce compliance fines, ensuring adherence to customer requirements and minimizing financial penalties.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B ecommerce, with a proven track record of managing and growing ecommerce accounts within B2B markets.
Strong understanding of the B2B ecommerce landscape, including key players, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Proficiency in ecommerce platforms, CRM software, and other relevant tools and technologies.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
